Thomas Hien

Thomas Hien is a singer, songwriter, composer and music producer born in Germany and schooled in England. He studied music composition for film at Sir Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts. After graduating with honors he moved to Los Angeles and co-founded the critically acclaimed singer/songwriter duo Chris And Thomas. Quickly making their ascendancy when the band’s breakout EP Vista Street Sessions won the attention of KCRW’s venerable music director Nic Harcourt, the duo has toured extensively in the US and in the UK and has released several albums to date. Thomas has also written songs for film, TV and commercials and for other artists. He is the winner of the 2006 Independent Music Awards for Best Song in the Americana category.
